Can You Beat A Recession?

A recession may be inevitable but here are seven reasons why integrated ecommerce might help you to beat it.

Selling to the Public (B2C)
  1. Maintain or grow market share: with 20% of retail sales now online and forecast to grow to 50% an efficient ecommerce presence is a must.
  2. Improve Margins: If your ecommerce is not integrated then you can reduce returns, and save labour by using a system integrated to your Sage software.
  3. Show Stock: By showing your real-time stock position, your customers will buy from you again confident you have the stock to sell.

Selling to Trade (B2B)

  1. Differentiate yourself: Your customers are going to be busy themselves; let them order online at their convenience.
  2. Need less staff: Online ordering may give you the flexibility to re-employ your staff taking and processing the orders onto other duties such as sales.
  3. Use Sage Price Books/Discounts: Make use of special pricing and discounts to retain customers and have the ecommerce system use them automatically.
  4. Watch the Credit: Maintain your Sage credit limits and policies for customers ordering online.
